Principle of action of visual inspection machine:

Visual inspection machine is produced as a workbench with possible attachment of loading transporter.

Glass ampoules and vials are fed to the machine in cassettes. Loading disc loads ampoules to band conveyors. Special mechanism installed in the machine spins vials at high rate thus forming swirl in the fluid and resulting in surfacing of impurities. Then vials and ampoules pass through the light screen so that floating impurities are illuminated and are clearly visible for machine operator located right in front of screen.

When rejected ampoules and vials are detected, operator marks them and performs sorting and unloading in automatic mode. Rejected vials and ampoules are sent to appropriate tray while valid ones are delivered to the cassette.

  7. Temperature, illumination intensity and angle are adjusted for better light control;
  8. Presence of automatic control system facilitates setting of various inspection parameters;
  9. Calculating function may be used both for total product amount and for amount of rejected and valid product;
  10. Machine design provides unimpeded access to all units and parts, easy setting, cleaning and maintenance;

In the latter case, industrial controller PLC Mitsubishi, Japan and engineering panel (Touch Screen) Digital, Japan (both have IP44 protection class) control the paths of valid and rejected products (by operator instructions) and operate effector mechanisms;
